Camp Connect - Camp Connect is a 6-week summer camp designed to meet the developmental, social, and behavioral needs of children with Asperger’s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism and related disorders. Camp Connect offers traditional recreational camp activities such as swimming, archery and horseback riding as well as therapeutic activities such as team-building exercises and social skills groups. These activities are designed to promote communication and socialization skills and are adaptable to meet individual goals outlined in a child’s IEP. As with all our camps, friendship and fun are core elements of all activities.
*End of summer Camp Connect Lite is also available in a 3- week session.
Camp Discover - Camp Discover is open to all children with special needs regardless of the nature or severity of their challenges. Campers enjoy therapeutic recreation and traditional playtime in an accepting environment that is fun and accessible to all. Throughout each 2-week session, campers will have opportunities to make friends while growing more confident and more successful in skill building activities. Campers are provided limited, extensive or pervasive supports depending on individual needs and are placed in groups following a careful assessment by our trained, professional staff.
Camp Summit - Camp Summit creates opportunities for success among children who struggle with severe behavioral challenges. Our trained counselors provide a positive behavioral system that creates structure for children who have struggled or failed at other camps due to behavioral issues.
Counselors work closely with campers in a safe and supportive environment to build and reinforce positive responses and our low campers to counselor ratios allows each camper to receive the coaching they need to build self-confidence, be successful and enjoy a summer camp experience that is safe and fun for everyone.
Horse Camp - Horse Camp is designed for campers who love horses. Our state-of-the-art Riding Center offers a full slate of fun and educational activities. Best of all – your child will spend each morning with our horses! Activities include learning to groom, feed and care for a horse and one mounted riding lesson each day. In the afternoons, the group will remain together to enjoy traditional camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, music and games.
