Camp Counselors provide daily direct support for children with special needs and are responsible for ensuring that our children have a safe, fun and rewarding time at camp. Counselors lead children through their daily activity schedule while encouraging and empowering them to participate in activities such as swimming, cooking, archery, music, field games and horseback riding.
Qualifications
- A desire to work closely with children with special needs.
- Previous academic or practical experience working with children with special needs is preferred but not required.

The Bridge Center is looking for activity leaders to fill the following positions: Cooking, Arts & Crafts, Performing Arts, Lifeguards, Archery, Sports & Nature.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of activity area a must.
- All relevant certifications required (lifeguards).
- College level work in the areas of Special Ed., Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation or a related field is preferred.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, particularly in the area of safety.

Group Leaders serve as leaders for their group and provide daily direct support for children with special needs as they move through their daily activity schedule. In addition to their responsibilities as counselor, group leaders are responsible for keeping their group on schedule and providing fellow counselors with support as needed.
Qualifications
- A desire to work closely with children with special needs.
- Prior experience providing direct service to children with special needs is strongly preferred.
- College level work in the areas of Special Ed., Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in the area of safety.

Seeking applications for part-time Riding Instructors for our Therapeutic Riding programs.

We provide therapeutic riding and driving lessons to over 100 children and adults weekly. Our instructors also teach typical riding and driving lessons to our neighbors in the local community. We have a wonderful herd of safe, sound horses that are fun to work with. Our beautiful riding center is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- A desire to work closely with children with special needs.
- On average 10 hours per work
- MA Riding Instructors License
- PATH International License (or desire to obtain one).
