Payment and Refund Policies

PAYMENT POLICIES:
  • A non-refundable $50.00 Registration Fee is required for all Equine, Therapy and all Summer Camp Programs every calendar year.
  • Programs are billed by the session and payment is expected in full at least 5 days prior to the start of the session, unless other arrangements have been made through our finance office. Please note that all programs must be paid in full prior to the start of the program in order for a participant to attend.
  • Please contact Karen Ellis at 508-697-7557 ext: 10 if you are unable to pay in full and would like to set up a payment plan.
  • Mid-session registration may be possible for some programs given space availability and tuition would be pro-rated.
  • You may apply for a Bridge Center Scholarship which will be granted based upon demonstrated need. After applying for a program, you can print out the scholarship form in Camp Minder, under Forms and Documents on the Forms Dashboard. The $50.00 Registration Fee must accompany the scholarship application or it will NOT be processed.

PAYMENT METHODS:

We accept Cash, Checks (made payable to The Bridge Center) and Credit Cards – Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

If an agency or school plans to pay for a program for your child, that agency must email, fax or mail us a letter of intent to pay prior to the participant joining the program.
All letters of intent to pay can be emailed to kellis@thebridgectr.org, faxed to 508-697-1529 or mailed to 470 Pine Street, Bridgewater, MA 02324.

REFUND AND WITHDRAWAL POLICIES:

  • Refund requests must always be in written form and dated at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program. Refund requests made at least 5 days in advance of the program will be assessed a $5.00 withdrawal fee.
  • All Camps, including vacation week, horse camps and summer camps will be assessed a $25.00 withdrawal fee if the request is made within 5 business days of the start of the program without medical documentation. After that time refunds will only be processed with medical documentation.

RIDING CENTER CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • Attendance Policy: Due to the required prep time it takes for staff and volunteers for each lesson, regularly scheduled attendance is expected and required. Any missed riding lessons that are not canceled due to a medical reasoning where a Dr. Note is provided will be forfeited and charged for. No exceptions! If a student does not show up, or cancels more than 3 times in a row - the lesson spot may be subject to be offered to another student!
  • Invoices will not be prorated for missed classes due to personal or family schedules.
  • If a client is absent for 4 or more consecutive lessons, excused or unexcused, he/she will be moved off the riding schedule and will join the wait list as a new rider. This policy is in place to assure that The Bridge Center is able to support as many riders as possible while considering rider consistency and health.
  • If a client’s absence is for medical reasons, he/she must also provide a written release from a physician before being able to rejoin the schedule.

INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY:

If The Bridge Center needs to cancel a program due to weather or staffing issues, we will credit families for the missed program if a makeup class is unable to be scheduled.

In the event of inclement weather, The Bridge Center will post facility closings and class cancellations on Facebook page, WCVB Channel 5, Channel 7, or dial 508-697-7557 ext: 14. Refunds/credits will only be granted in the event that The Bridge Center closes or cancels a class.

  • Weekdays: The Bridge Center will follow Bridgewater/Raynham School District for closings and delays.
  • Weekends: Cancellations, closings, and delays will be announced a minimum of 2 hours prior to the start of class. Please check your email!
